Hire One Hero is a Rotary Club of Atlanta initiative that puts heroes to work.

The Rotary Club of Atlanta recognizes that our veterans and, in particularly, wounded warriors face significant challenges securing civilian employment at the conclusion of their military careers. These men and women have bravely served our country as members of the most advanced well trained, and disciplined fighting force this world has ever seen. But upon returning from their time of service, they must transition their unique skills and abilities into the civilian workforce.

Sadly, the current economic conditions make securing civilian employment difficult for many of these returning veterans – and even more difficult for wounded warriors, who have sustained life altering disabilities in the line of duty. We have created Hire One Hero as an Atlanta Rotary initiative to help wounded warriors and veterans find employment – one job at a time, one hero at a time.

The Army Wounded Warrior program, Veterans Administration and Bobby Dodd Institute are working with the Atlanta Rotary to match qualified candidates to real employment opportunities.

If you are committed to hiring one wounded warrior or veteran, please let us know that you are interested. Email us at info@HireOneHero.com or call the Hire One Hero hotline at 678-589-7052. We will work with you, leveraging our combined knowledge, experience and partnerships to fill your specific employment opportunity with a true hero and a great employee.

Thank you for supporting our troops and making a difference in the life of one of our heroes.

About Rotary Club of Atlanta – A Legacy of Friendship
Founded in 1913, Atlanta Rotary has been frequently honored by Rotary International as one of its truly outstanding affiliates. With 480+ members, Atlanta Rotary is one of the largest Rotary Clubs. It has been a long tradition that a member of the Club must be a key leader in his or her field, a person of integrity whose sense of values includes an obligation of community service. The Club is pleased that not one week goes by that does not bring recognition of one — and usually several — of its members for significant leadership of a major civic enterprise.

Our members are generous, having led the way in support of Rotary International Foundation's effort to eradicate polio. Many are extraordinary patrons of art, education, politics and many other worthwhile causes and institutions. Most importantly, they give their time and lend their influence to causes they and Rotary support.
